Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples (born Aubrey Peeples) is an American singer-actress. Her best-recognition was for her roles in Nashville in the 2012 drama, as Layla Grant. She also was awarded the prize in Sharknado 2013 in which she was Claudia Shepard. In 2015, she played the character of Jerrica Jem on the film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples grew up in Lake Mary Florida by parents Wendy and Ashley. She is the older sister of Ally. Aubrey performed at The Orlando Repertory Theatre in her teens for a period of 10 years. Aubrey was a graduate of Lake Mary Preparatory School where she was valedictory speakers for the class in 2012. Harvard University was willing to accept her. However, she turned down the opportunity twice. The second time was due to the fact that she wanted to perform in Nashville. Peeples was on the screen in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) and Grey's Anatomy (2005) as and Grey's Anatomy (2005). She also had a recurring part in Necessary Rustiness (1991). The actress was also in two television-based films, Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). She was a part of the cast for an important recurring role on the second season of the show drama Nashville in which she played Layla Grant. Peeples spoke about her bipolar disorder in an interview for NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples at the end of September as among America's best young actors.
